Evaluation:
During these past 5 weeks we were tasked with creating a magazine advert with images we took our selves however we had to do a freak or unique theme to it. We did this by researching different images we started out copying 10 images we liked that also fit the criteria of this project. After this we had to narrow the selection down to 5 image from the selected 10 that we could try and replicate the feel of the images. From these images i have learnt that there is a correlation between these different images that is they all have a unique photogenic look such as having an image with a two tone color pallet. My first idea was to have a clown to the left with a field behind him and a type of mist in the background. My second idea was to have a merge of image of my classmates and merge them together like Picasso. My final one was to have an advert for running shoes i did this by portraying the shoes as a strong athlete stamping on a weak athlete making way for a stronger competition, there is a Kit-Kat bar inside the shoe showing that you can become a great athlete without giving up your favorite things. then the statue with the lanyard is for the symbolism of the fans of sport and how they will praise you. Finally the hard drive will represent the amount of data that will be needed to record all of the great moments that you will do as soon as you put on the shoes.
Photography skills
The photography skills i have developed, is the knowledge of how the camera works and the different modes and knowing when to use them. I used a seamless background. this allowed me to correctly cut out the images.
Four Edited Final Shot, What editing process did you use.
the editing process I used the curved tool and the level tool to adjust images exposure and back ground for the four images then i used the pen tool to have an accurate pathway so that i can cut out the images correctly. Another editing was to cut out a piece of the shoe then copying it then pasting on top of the kit at bar.
Examples of your final design artwork
This artwork show how i wanted to depict the advert so I used this as the basis for my final advert.
What would you do differently next time and what did you learn from your first assignment
I learned how to compose a image correctly by using the rule of three and what the different modes were on the dial such as ' program, speed, aperture and manual.' i also know how a basic studio is set up and what equipment was used to do it.What i would do different would be having a more detailed objects to take image. So that I can make a better image that was made by the merged images.
