In this lesson i was told to find different types of fonts on the website '
DaFonts.com' -
http://www.dafont.com/.
When we got onto the website we had to do a
print screen on the page where the font we want is. After this we went onto the
Photoshop by using the start menu and then
transformed it
so it can be big enough to see. after this we used the
marquee tool to get rid of anything unnecessary, after this i hid the
background and then used the
Magic Wand tool to get rid of the white background of the actual logo on each layer.
The reasons why i chose these 5 themes that are on the
left is because it shows what Oculus is about in one way or another. For example the first one shows what we wanted the theme to be because it almost seems like it is written in blood. The next logo seems to be written in a Gothic style, the next logo seem to be used in some type of black magic. the fourth seems to be made by using quick one stroke motions. Finally the last one is distorted so it can represent what the CD is all about.
In the end had to design our own logos then we had to present them to our own group and selected the one.
